Raya Yai West Dive Sites
Novice | 5-20m | Mild currents
Bungalow Bay North Wall dive site starts from the corner of the bay. Crystal clear waters just 20 kilometers south of Phuket makes this dive site amazing. Scuba divers of all skill levels can enjoy the rich sea life of Raya Yai, among the most common fishes there are lionfish, morays and some times even turtles and octopuses.
Novice | 5-15m | Mild currents
Bungalow Bay South Wall is much like the North Wall, but as the reef ends the wall becomes more rocky. After the reef species change a bit, and creatures such as rays and barracudas are usually spotted. At the deepest this site is around 15m below the surface and often dived during Open Water Diver Course.
Novice | 5-25m | Mild-Moderate currents
Boulder City dive site is not as colorful as the ones at the bay, but large rocks at the bottom are impressive. Small caves between the rocks create a perfect shelter for different fish species. On this site scuba divers can spot scorpionfish, lionfish and octopuses. Some larger rays can also be spotted laying on the sandy sea floor.
