Sailing daytrips from Phuket


Phuket and its surrounding islands comprise one of the most spectacular sailing grounds in the region, with beautiful sandy beaches, stunning geography and smooth northeast trade winds.

Spend the most relaxing and unforgettable day aboard our luxurious Lagoon 380 catamaran s/y Kuutti. You will enjoy the fresh sea breeze, great sailing, many magnificent landscapes, swimming and snorkeling – what else you could wish for your holiday! Furthermore, our experienced and professionally qualified captain will share some of the secrets of sailing during the day.

Sailing route

Our day trip starts at 10 a.m. from the Chalong harbor. From there, accompanied by a gentle downwind, we head off in the direction of Coral Island. Near Coral Island, we set course for the attractive islands Kaeo Yai and Kaeo Noi, and then continue on to the fascinating Nui Bay. Moored in Nui Bay, you will have the chance to swim, go snorkeling and enjoy the underwater world. During the stop a delicious thai style lunch will be served onboard. The next stops will take you to the tranquil shores of Naiharn and Yanui, where you can swim and take a walk on the beautiful beaches. The sailing trip continues via Promthep Cape, the southern point of Phuket, and returns back to the Chalong harbour in the late afternoon at 4:30 p.m.

Depending on the wind and weather conditions, our sailing route is subject to change.

Sailing conditions

• from November to April northeaster wind in the mornings (4-6 m/s) and usually the wind calms down in the afternoon
• during the winter season there will be no rain however in October and November showers are possible

 

The sailing trip includes

• transportation from the hotel, towels, snorkeling equipment, life jackets, drinking water, refreshments, coffee, tea, fresh tropical fruits and thai lunch
• alcoholic beverages such as beer and white wine are served onboard with a small extra cost

Please bring your own swim wear and sun block.
