Diving around Raya Yai

On Raya Yai Island we can offer you top quality diving in a non-crowded and relaxed atmosphere. We avoid big boats, crowded reefs and always dive in small groups. Our advantage is that we are located right beside all the best dive sites and you don't have to spend half of your day traveling to get to the reefs. If you want to go for a beach dive, just gear up, jump in and you're at the dive site! When going with boats to the other reefs around the island, the trip still only takes a maximum of 20 minutes. This way you can easily make 1-3 dives every day plus night dives and still have time in between to enjoy the beaches and nature of the island.

Beach Dives:
There are three different beaches with direct access to the reefs. Diving is very easy due to the mild currents and shallow water. Beach dives are conducted daily at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. or on request, Also as a specialty we have early morning dives straight off the shore from the Ban Raya Resort starting at 7:00 a.m.

Boat Dives:
There are many different dive sites around the island that are easily accessed by boat. Dives vary from shallow relaxing reef dives to 35 meter deep thrilling drift dives to suit all experience levels, including one wreck dive. We have daily scheduled boat dives at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. with additional boat dives arranged on request. We can also customize a diving schedule for your personal requirements.

Raya Noi Trips:
The next island, Racha Noi, is one of the most famous dive sites in Thailand. The dive site is most suitable for the more experienced diver due to its strong currents and deeper water. Big pelagic species such as Mantra rays are often encountered on these dives. Our Racha Noi trips include two dives and lunch at the beach in this beautiful uninhabited island. Snorkelers are also welcome to join this trip and spend a nice day at the beach.

Night Dives:
Night dives are nice and easy at Raya Island since all the reefs are just nearby. These special dives are conducted every evening from one of the beaches. We provide you with lights and if needed, give you an education for night diving techniques.
