Snorkeling around Raya Yai Island
There are several shallow and calm bays around Raya Yai Island where snorkeling is possible. You can enter the water directly from the beach and snorkeling near the beach is suitable for children as well. Do not hesitate to contact Raya Divers staff for advice since there are couple of things to consider like wind, waves, currents and tides when choosing your snorkeling spot of the day.
Whenever there is space on the boat, you can join the divers on a longtail boat, go snorkeling and have a tour around the island. While the divers are in the water you can swim and snorkel on the shallow reefs around Raya Yai island.
The next island further south (Raya Noi) is famous among experienced scuba divers and there are boats going to this uninhabited island a couple times a week. If you are not diving, you can still join the trip and spend your day on a small quiet beach surrounded by pristine coral reefs.
