Liveaboards Burma & Mergui Archipelago
Mergui Archipelago is situated in southernmost Burma and consists of more than 800 islands. Small sea gypsy colonies live on the bigger islands, but most of the islands are uninhabited.
The area is still quite unknown, as it didn’t open for tourists until 1997. Because of its untouched nature, the scenery underwater and on the surface is truly unbelievable.
In the clear blue waters of Mergui Archipelago, you can find species that are rare these days in other popular dive destinations like Thailand. Teeming with beautiful corals and colorful fish, the range of species in the Mergui Archipelago is truly spectacular. There is also a good chance of encountering bigger species like rays and sharks while diving on this special liveaboard.
