Liveaboard Komodo, summer 2011

Komodo National Park, in Indonesia is the world's most famous marine biodiversity, home some of the most amazing creatures.
Diving in Indonesia is not the only one of the top list great location that professional divers must visit at least one day in a life time but there are also many exciting places to visit for enthusiastic divers like Komodo to see the Komodo Dragons, Raja Ampat, Surawesi and Banda which have been recorded as world class dive sites.
The diving in Komodo is world class, exciting drift dives, Manta Ray aggregations and some of the world's richest and most beautiful coral reefs.
Queen Scuba This luxury 28 meter liveaboard vessel is designed to sample the delights of some of the best dive sites in the world while living on the sea. During the trip this vessel will travel through the most beautiful dive sites of Komodo, Bali and Labuan Bajo. Queen Scuba has 1 master cabin with luxurious sea views, 5 VIP cabins and 3 standard cabins. All cabins have en-suite toilet, hot water shower facilities and air conditioning. Queen Scuba also features a large lounge area, two sun decks, large dive platform and gearing up area and a saloon with DVD entertainment centre. Below you find an example of a schedule for a normal 4 day / 4 night trip. This schedule depends on weather conditions, safety considerations and the wishes of the customers.

• The Queen Scuba departs from Bali or Labuan Bajo piers depending on the liveaboard.
• Make sure to bring your latest certification card and your logbook, as we would like to check this before departure. If you do not have a certification card (with you), please let us know in advance.
• On your dives, our experienced divemasters / instructors will guide you, but if you would like to dive independently as a buddy team, you are more than welcome to do so. The dive staff gives a proper dive site briefing before every dive.
• The maximum depth for PADI Open Water divers and equivalent certification levels is 18 metres.
• The maximum depth for PADI Advanced Open Water divers (or equivalent level) and above is 30 meters.
• The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is available onboard with Instructor for only 168 €.
• Open Water Certified Divers wishing to dive deeper than 18metres or dive at night can opt for PADI Adventure Dives- Deep or Night for only 1000 Baht each.
• The tanks on board Queen Scuba are 12 litre aluminium tanks with yoke valve. If needed, we can provide you with a DIN adaptor free of charge (make sure to book your adapter in advance).
• Nitrox Tanks are available at 6 € per dive.
• Nitrox Course is available for only 168 €.
• Torches on the night dives are included in the
price.
• Safety Marker Buoys are free of charge.
• You can rent a digital camera for one or more days (28 €/day).
• Marine park fees (60 € / person / trip) will be collected at the beginning of the trip.
• Money for any outstanding expenses - for example purchased alcohol or cigarettes - will be collected at the end of the trip.
• Alcohol and cigarettes are possible to pay with VISA / MasterCard. There will be a surcharge of 4 %.
