How to get to Raya Yai Island?
Raya Yai Island has traditionally been a favorite destination for individual travelers. The bigger travel agencies still do not organize package tours to the island.
You can book your flights to Phuket and we can arrange your hotel bookings and transfers. If you are on a package tour and want to spend a just few days on this little paradise island, you can make a booking through us to Raya Yai.
How to get there the easiest way below:
From your Phuket hotel:
If you are staying in Phuket, we pick you up around 8.00-8.30 from your hotel, take you to Chalong harbor and from there by speedboat to Raya Yai Island taking approximately 40 minutes. You can book this trip with us by email or by phoning direct to our Phuket office.
From Phuket airport:
If you arrive to Phuket by plane, we can pick you up from the airport and take you to any Phuket hotel for the first night then the next morning around 8.00-8.30am we will pick you up from your hotel, take you to the Chalong harbor and there by speedboat to Raya Yai Island taking approximately 40 minutes. Or you can make the airport transfers and hotel booking in Phuket by yourself. Just let us know from which hotel to pick you up from.
If you don’t want to spend your first night in Phuket, we can take you from the airport straight to Chalong harbor. You can go to the island by private longtail boat or a speedboat any time you want. Note that the last departure is about 16.00pm.
On the return trip from Raya Island if you want to go straight to the airport without staying a night in Phuket then you need to book a flight no earlier than 6.30pm.
From other Raya Divers destinations:
From Krabi, Ko Lanta or Khao Lak take a local bus or minibus to Phuket or you can order through us an air conditioned taxi. from Ko Lanta you can also go direct by Ferry to Phuket. Boats to Raya Yai Island leave daily at 9.00.am. If you use public transport and can’t make it to Chalong harbor before 8.30am, you can spend the first night in Phuket or go to the island by a more expensive private boat .
