Diving trips

Exactly 57 kilometers west of Khao Lak is one of the most fascinating tropical diving areas of the world. The famous Similan Islands National Park is a group of nine beautiful islands, from which 7 are uninhabited. Beautiful coral reefs surround the islands and there are dive sites that can be found for every taste: Soft coral walls, rocky boulders, caverns and swim-throughs. Visibility is generally very good ranging from 20 meters up to 40 meters. The fish life is very good and an unbelievable variety of different species can be found from these truly spectacular dive sites.

The Raya Divers speed boat departs from Thaplamu pier every day at 8:00 am. After a 90 minute boat trip you will arrive at the national park and then change to our bigger diving vessel. During the day you can make 2 or 3 dives and have lunch, snacks, fruit and drinks between the dives.

The dives itself are done in small groups lead by our Divemaster or if you are already an experience diver you may want to dive independently with your buddy.

On all our daytrips we will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and if needed you can rent all the dive equipment from us. We only use 1st class ScubaPro regulators and BCDs. Water temperature is year around 28-30 degrees Celsius and you can rent a 3mm shorty wetsuit from us as well.

These programs work as a guideline and some changes to the dive destinations or boats may come due to weather or current conditions. We also can arrange special requests from groups and will always try to choose new dive sites for people doing multiple dive trips with us,

Snorkelers are also welcome on our trips and they have a chance to spend a nice day on the sea, enjoy the sun, swim, snorkel and see the beautiful coral reefs as well. Most of the dive sites are good for snorkeling except Koh Bon island. On all the trips there is a snorkeling guide onboard.
