PADI Adventure Diving

After the Open Water course maybe your time is too limited to complete the full Advanced Course that includes 5 Adventure dives (2 days of diving). You have the option to do just a few Adventure Dives and complete the Advanced level training some other time even somewhere else in the world. You can choose a certain specialty area that interests you: It could be Underwater Photography, Wreck Diving, Deep Diving or something else.

During any diving daytrip you can do Adventure Dives. Of course as local professionals, we will recommend to you what would be the best dive to make for the dive trip you are on. For example, it is good to do the Adventure Deep Dive if you are planning to dive at the Similan Islands. If you want to see the King Cruiser wreck, Adventure Wreck Dive would be a good option etc…

During the boat trip, you will do some self-study and go over some theory with your instructor and then go for a dive.

During a diving daytrip you can make 1-3 Adventure dives (depending on how many dives there are on the trip you are on). For more information on different diving trips please refer to the Dive Trips pages.

After three Adventure Dives you can apply Adventure Diver Certification (between OWD and AOWD certifications), but it’s not compulsory before AOWD certification. You can complete Adventure Diver certification during a one day. You can update that later for the full Advanced Open Water Divers certification after doing two more Adventure Dives (compulsory Deep and U/W Navigation has to be completed).
